Simply ILM is excited to announce our participation in this year’s SAP TechEd conference in Las Vegas. Simply ILM Partner and Director of ILM Services Deanna Mollett will be co-presenting a session titled “Integrating Data Volume Management and Information Lifecycle Management” with George Daniell, IT-ERP business solutions manager at Florida Power & Light.
During this session, we’ll discuss our partnership with NextEra Energy, a leading provider of clean energy. NextEra relies on SAP to manage business functions in financials, human resources, supply chain, and more. The decision to invest in a complete Data Volume Management (DVM) and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) solution resulted from significant ERP system growth, a need for managed cost control, and ever-present regulatory requirements.
After clearly defining target performance goals, Simply ILM stepped in to provide guidance and implementation support to NextEra’s in-house departments, adapting best practices to fit the organization’s ECC system. NextEra is now prepared for an upcoming adaptation to HANA and has an optimal long-term data retention management plan in place. The results of the DVM and ILM project have been phenomenal, with their continued performance playing a key role in all aspects of the organization’s SAP system.
